For such developments we have been involved in handling matters such as tax exemption; permitting; licensing; labor and employment issues, construction problems and casino license qualifications.
Our knowledge of historic and legal issues related to the problems created from grafting a common law property system onto a Scandinavian law property base is a specialty of the firm. We have been retained by national title companies and commercial entitles for issues such as waterfront title problems and historic easement issues. We regularly represent Fortune 500 companies and major banks who find themselves involved in Virgin Islands real estate issues.
